Healing

I love to find new meditations and visualization techniques to see if I may be able to integrate it into my meditation practice and came across this website that has a few really great ways to relax and focus on healing, relaxing and finding your spirit guide, called "The Meditation Room"
Below is from their Healing Meditation...I encourage you to check out this website.

~~~~
Find a comfortable space, either sit or lie in a relaxed position. As you become settled, begin to focus on your breath.
Inhale, then exhale at a comfortable pace – an even breath.
Close your eyes.
Continue your rhythmic breathing. If you become distracted refocus on your breath.
As you sink into comfort and relaxation, see yourself basking in a waterfall of sunlight and crystal elder water.
As the sun and water cascade over your body you absorb the healing oxygen carried within your blood vessels though your whole system.
The oxygen heals and releases the holding contraction of each muscle. Each muscle becomes taffy… soft and pliable.
All tension gives way to relaxation. The cascade of sunshine reminds you of the source of all energy.
Your whole being sings with release and renewal as the source refuels and fortifies your body and spirit.
In healing all is possible. As you heal your spirit and body your gifts to the universe emerge.
Your loving compassion explodes for sharing with your fellow travelers. As you heal yourself you heal all who cross your path. Your connection to others heals as you move to your new level of evolution.
You are the incarnation of universal healing. It begins with you.
The healing vision of cascading sunshine and water is yours whenever you want it to be. Come back to this space whenever you want to, know that this space is always available even for a moment.
Be aware once again of your breath.
Inhale… exhale as your re-enter the space around you. Open your eyes and carry your renewed energy to all with whom you come in contact.
Elemental Herbs
I moved into this house just about three years ago and started to revamp the yard as it was mostly red rock (super yuck) and weeds. So far the front area is now sporting a thriving rose garden and a majority of the weeds are gone but there's this one really ugly area that I've been wracking my brain to come up with a solution to. It is a raised area that nestles in the corner of where my house and porch meet.
The previous owner had thrown in two monstrous, ugly, stinky, juniper bushes and I've been wanting to remove them, I just haven't had a whole lot of time or energy to apply myself at fixing it. Just when I thought it might have to wait till next spring, I read the page about The Language of Flowers Ritual in the book Pagan Everyday and my little light bulb switched on.
How about if I combine a small water feature with this ritual, the result would be a gorgeous little area that would catch visitors eyes like a magnet! The ritual basically goes like this...I am going to pick an herb that, to me, would signify all five elements...Air, Fire, Water, Earth and Spirit. Air could be Sage and symbolize wisdom or clarity of thought....Fire can be Lemon Balm to symbolize healing...Earth can be Briony for money and protection...Water can be Catnip for love....Spirit can be Bay symbolizing psychic powers and purification.
I'm going to place them in the directions that they correspond to and in conjuntion with the pond I have in mind, with water lilies and koi, I think this is going to be one of those projects that I can't wait to get going on and show off when finished. I think I will like explaining what my little garden represents and how it reflects my spirituality. What better way to celebrate my inner goddess!
History Of The Celtic Knot
Celtic knots are perhaps the most notorious and recognizable artwork in Celtic history.
They started appearing in history after about 450 AD; the Celtic knots meaning is sketchy at best, because there is little written history documenting their purpose.
However, repetition of their appearance through history in conjunction with other various human interpretations give us insight, and allow us to infer some basic information relating to the Celtic knots meaning.
The Celtic knot symbol, is also referred to as the mystic knot, or the endless knot. The more esoteric or spiritual meaning of this symbol eludes to beginnings and endings. In viewing these beautiful knots, we cannot see a beginning or and end, and therefore we are reminded of the timeless nature of our spirit. This translation hearkens to our most primal selves as we contemplate the infinite cycles of birth and rebirth in both physical and ethereal realms.
A less spiritual representation is also related to the knots endless nature. Due to it's infinite path, the Celtic knot can represent an uninterrupted life cycle. Some may use this symbol as a charm of sorts – warding against sickness or setbacks that might interfere with an otherwise calm and stable life. In this vein, these knots are used as emblems, which can be found in jewelry, clothing, or home decor. In ancient times, gifts adorned with mystic knots would be given with best wishes of longevity, or luck with new endeavors.
