Prosperity Spell
This spell is best worked on a Sunday or a Thursday during the waxing moon.
Tools:
Cauldron with burning charcoal inside
Basil, Chamomile and Sage (all are herbs associated with prosperity)
Cup of water
Dish of salt or earth
Athame or wand
~ Cast the circle however you choose.
~ Invite the Lord and Lady to your circle in whatever manner is most comfortable to you.
~ Cast the herbs onto the burning charcoal while visualizing your goal -whether it be bills that you need to pay or whatever reason you are seeking financial help.
~ Sprinkle a few drops of water and salt or earth upon the charcoal.
~ As you move your athame or wand over the cauldron clockwise, to blend the energies, say:
"By the powers of air, fire, water and earth,
I release this spell.
I ask for Divine guidance as I seek help this day.
With harm to none,
this spell be done."
~ Spend a few moments in meditation, visualizing the smoke from the cauldron carrying the energies out of the circle and into the universe.
~ Thank the Lord and Lady for the assistance in your magickal working.
~ Release the circle.
~ Ground and center yourself.
The Page of Pentacles
The Page of Pentacles seems deep in thought as he stares at an old Pentacle, rusty with age. He stands in the center of a circular stone slab with a factory looming in the distance. He himself appears to be created of various parts, like those at his feet, and ponders just what he could create with this wonderful discovery he has made.
The Page of Pentacles, like the pages of all the suits, is a card of new beginnings, of inspiration and the initial stages of a creativity. The Page is absorbed by the Pentacle in his hand which represents his goals and dreams and the beginnings of awareness not only in terms of money and its value, but also in terms of a growing awareness of the importance of health and other material needs.
As many young people do the page of pentacles desires to have an effect on the world. He wants to mold his life and the world around him. The page of pentacles desires to create tangible changes, and he wants to experience nature and life. He is interested in getting the ball rolling, and he is filled with plans that he wants to bring to actuality. This Page is filled with physical energy, and he is ready to act on his dreams.

Full Moon Prosperity Charm Bag
First, you will need to make a small bag. You need two pieces of green fabric (green is used for prosperity matters.) 4" x 3" in size. Next, Place the two pieces together with the insides facing each other. Slowly sew three of the sides of the pouch together. Fold the top of the open edges down to 1/4 inch and sew around the top (across one side seam but leave the other side seam unsewn.) Turn the charm bag right side out and using a small safety pin, attach a green cord or ribbon to it.
Carefully thread the cord or ribbon through the opening until you can pull it out to an even lengths at the side of the charm bag. Remove the safety pin and knot both ends of the cord or ribbon (not together mind you)...Voila! You are the proud owner of your very own charm bag!
The ingredients
A pinch of Moss
A whole Basil leaf
A pinch of All Spice
3 silver coins
Two green stones (such as Adventurine, Green Calcite or Chrysoprase)
Next
Put one ingredient into the bag at a time and while doing this say this chant:
"Spirits of Prosperity send abundance down to me... Spirits of Prosperity send me financial prosperity. Bring me success in all endeavors, for my highest good, harming none. So mote it be!"
After putting all of the ingredients into the bag (and saying the chant each time) tie the top of the bag with the green cord or ribbon. You can carry this with you or hang it on the door knob or by the entrance to your home.
These bags also make great gifts for friends and family members. When given to someone with Love, will bring Good Luck and Prosperity.

Prosperity- a successful, flourishing, or thriving condition, esp. in financial respects; good fortune.
Abundance- an extremely plentiful or oversufficient quantity or supply.
At first glance, these two words seem remarkably similar but upon closer examination you can see that prosperity is to flourish and abundance is to have a lot of.....I never really put much thought into these words and their use but until I started trying to bring about a more prosperous environment around me, I began to realize there is a world of difference between these words and I started to delve into how to bring about the good things in my life.
There are many ways to be prosperous, financially, spiritually, materially and these are the ways in which most of us wish to manifest in our lives. I prefer to use the word prosperity rather than abundance because it brings to mind the impression of having too much...like bills, rain or even worries and that is usually why we ask to be prosperous in the first place.
There are several theories as to "the secret" of prosperity and I have been one of those individuals myself on occasion. The law of return is a good one, it goes like this: what we give out will return to us, so if we become active in our communities and show concern and kindness to our neighbors...the thought is that those good deeds shall return to us. But what if that does not happen? Then we are sent right back to the drawing board to see just where we might have gone wrong.
I have made the observation that maybe deep down inside, we don't feel like we may be worthy of asking for prosperity. The Universe and the Gods will provide for us, but often times only if we ask. You just have to remind yourself that you are deserving of good times. We are part of divinity and as such are more than worthy to ask and recieve prosperity in our lives.
I also noticed that people tend to focus on the negative things that happen to them and also expect them as a regular thing. If they would just start expecting good things, than good things would have a chance to arrive. A great way to shift our focus from the negative to the positive it a gratitude list....Make it a point to write down five things that you are grateful for every day. Do this for a couple months and you will start to notice that rather seeing only negative, we are more apt to start seeing all the things in our lives that are good.
Every Sunday I have a post called "Serenity Sunday" this is my gratitude list. Each day I write down ten things I am thankful for and on Sunday I pick out a few from the week and post them on my blog. I can honestly say my focus has shifted and I no longer see the glass as half empty but half full instead. I ask you today, why not start a gratitude journal and see if that doesn't help change your perspectives of prosperity and abundance...?
